The month of December passed really quickly, and because I spent a great part of it away from home, I only took a few essentials with me.
One of those essentials was Moa’s Green Balm. As described previously, this little thing was a true all-in-one miracle. I used it as a cleansing balm, as a moisturiser for overly dry skin patches, as a lip balm, as a cuticle balm, and I even applied it to my hair ends. It allowed me to travel extraordinarily light.
Another favorite of the month of December was Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum. My family loves spoiling me with perfumes and they’re so good at choosing what I’d like that I only ever bought myself one single perfume. Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle was a birthday gift from my parents that sat inside my drawer in its original packaging for over a year before I decided to unwrap its luxury. I adore its feminine and elegant scent and the long lasting power of this perfume ensures that I’ll own it for a long time.
Since I was able to travel light because Moa’s Green Balm played the main role in my skincare, I went a bit crazy with nail polishes and lipsticks. I brought 7 nail polishes and 5 lipsticks with me, but found myself wearing the matchy-matchy combination of Mac’s Diva and Essie’s Shearling Darling the major part of my stay. There’s something about deep reds that just works in winter.
There it was, my short and sweet beauty summary of December.
Should I do a “2014 Favorites” post?
